Town Day, Arlington, 2004

| On the avenue, we have the First Parish Information Table, ready for browsers. Behind it, on the church lawn, the Pie Palace is set and ready to go. This First Parish offering to benefit social action programs capitalizes on our many fine bakers. The Pie Palace been going strong for about 20 years. |
Chili Chef has the pots for "Man-Made Chili" well in control.

Arlington Feed & Grain played several sets, entertaining the crowds enjoying chili and cornbread at long tables in the church parking lot. Many people lingered to listen, relaxing on rows of chairs provided or socializing behind the tables. Pie Palace customers nearby were treated to great background music.
| Our information table, the Pie Palace and the chili stand and music attracted a steady stream of customers all day.
Next to the info table First Parish member Kendall Dudley organized a community art project.

Over two hundred people came by and paused,
adding reflections on the 911 theme -- "3 Years Later: September 11, 2004". |
Thanks to Kendall Dudley and to Larry Osgood for providing all these photos!
