In honoring nature’s weavers, I used up a decade’s worth of scraps, including some lace collars I found in an antique shop

Rose Amish Berry
The Rose
I created this quilt using two-inch squares, this original design was originally for one-inch squares.  I worked on this in the 21st century!

Amish Berry Patch
My mother and I worked on this together.
The blocks are hand pieced by my mother, I hand-quilted the piece.

Maritime Elements
Atlantic Maritimes
These small landscape studies are reminiscent of our beloved Prince Edward Island.
Carolyn Hodges  —  2006
The Elements
These pieces reflect the four elements; earth, air, fire and water.  They are oriented in their corresponding directions, north, east, south and west.

Corners
Heartland
This quilt reminds me of the beauty of our mid-west farm lands as viewed from the air.
Sandy King  —  2006
Windows on the Universe
This was a difficult project as there are ALL mitered corners.
