Racial Justice Coordinating Committee Sponsored Book Group
Building on the First Parish Juneteenth commemoration featuring Schiffon Wong, chair of the NAACP committee on reparations for racial violence, David Whitford will lead us in reading From Here to Equality by William A. Darity and A. Kirsten Mullen. The group will meet January 24th, 31st, and February 7th. At the February 7th meeting we will also have the opportunity to discuss potential next steps for our congregation around reparations for racial violence and injustice. For those interested, we encourage you to start reading the book, it is available from the racial justice library, the Minuteman library system, and for purchase from UNC Press.

Registrants are expected to commit to attending the three sessions, January 24th, 31st, and February 7th. evenings 7:00 – 8:30 pm.
