WRITING A GARDEN

Friday, October 18, Alliance Gathering, 7 p.m. in First Parish Vestry

In the garden “the door is always open into ‘the holy’—growth, birth, death,” May Sarton tells us. In her new book of poems, Buddha in the Garden, Cathie Desjardins takes us on a seasonal swirl through all these things. Cathie’s Alliance talk is about both the process of making a book and making a garden and includes selected readings and photos.  Buddha in the Garden will be available for signing.

Our Alliance gathering will begin with a potluck dessert at 7.p.m.  with our program at 7:30 p.m.   All are cordially welcomed to this special event.   Questions?   Write alliance@firstparish.info.
