The Holiday Help program helps parents provide Christmas gifts for their children and First Parish has participated for the last 20 years. Every family in need that is a part of the drive comes through the Health and Human Services department and they are Arlington residents. The range of children is very young to 18 years old.
This year, because of Covid, we will not have access to a personalized list from parents. Health and Human Services is asking that we give gift certificates for Visa or Mastercard in the amount of $25. They are also suggesting gift certificates from Target, Walgreens, CVS; There are many good choices at CVS, the post office and other stores in town!
If you prefer to give an amount in check form, please make it out to the “Town of Arlington” and label your check with “Holiday Help” in the memo line. Checks will be used to purchase gift cards for families in need. You can drop them off in the large black mail box at the back of the parking lot at Town Hall. Or you can arrange for a specific in-person delivery time with Patsy at Town Hall by calling 781-858-8629
Otherwise, Gift Card donations or checks should be mailed directly to
Patsy Kraemer at
Arlington Town Hall,
730 Mass Avenue,
If you have any questions, please email Patience at HolidayHelp@firstparish.info
Thanks so much for your generosity and caring.
All contributions are due by December 4th.
