We have a few last minute teaching needs for the winter term, which begins on Sunday, January 5. This is an 8 week teaching term (January – March). One teacher needed to co-teach with veteran Wendy Fields in Grade 3. The curriculum is a newly revised Holidays and Holy Days. Two teachers are needed to co-teach with veteran Kevin Costello in Grade 4. The curriculum is Hebrew Stories. Please contact to learn more.


OWL Course for 7th graders, which begins in March, is currently FULL. Unless your child has been actively participating in our Neighboring Faiths class this fall we have not included them in the roster for the OWL program. There are currently openings for middle school OWL at the Lutheran Church in Arlington, which will begin in January. To enroll there please contact them: family@stpaularlington.or. This course is also offered through Arlington Community Education. 

Saturday, December 14: New Teacher Orientation, 9:00 am. in the Grady Room (next to DRE office)


This Sunday, December 15 marks the last day of the winter teaching term!  Parents, please take a moment to stop by your child’s class to say thank you to our amazing volunteer teachers.
Sunday, December 15: Teacher Transition Bagel Gathering in the Parlor at 9:00 a.m. for fall and winter teachers.
Sunday, December 15: Field trips in grades 6 and 7.
Grade 6 will walk to Keefe Funeral Home. Meet in the Parlor at 10:00 (do not go into Sanctuary)
Grade 7 will walk to St John’s Episcopal Church on Pleasant St. Meet in the foyer by the church offices at 9:45.
Sunday, December 15: Coming of Age Parent Orientation 7:00 pm. OWL and Youth Group at their regular times.


Sunday, December 22: All Ages worship service at 10:00 a.m. Our Nursery and PreK classrooms will be open for our youngest children. Older children will remain in the Sanctuary to worship with their families.


Sunday, December 22: Last OWL class. No Youth Group.
