RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS
We hope you are staying warm and healthy! Thank you for bringing your children to First Parish.
We have a few needs in our spring teaching term. If you would like to teach in grades 1 (Creating Home curriculum) or 5 (Toolbox of Faith) please contact Tina@firstparish.info to learn more! If you have an interest in teaching and would like to get a feel for the experience please consider becoming a substitute teacher, to help in the class one or two times as needed.
Sunday, February 2: Coming of Age Snowtubing Field Trip to Nashoba Valley, depart after church. Please check emails from Tina about permission form, attire and spending money. No evening programming – COA or Youth Group.
OWL Course for 7th graders, which begins in March, is currently FULL. Unless your child has been actively participating in our Neighboring Faiths class this fall we have not included them in the roster for the OWL program. There are currently openings for middle school OWL at the Lutheran Church in Arlington, which will begin in January. To enroll there please contact them: firstname.lastname@example.org. This course is also offered through Arlington Community Education.
We encourage you to sign up to ring the bell or light the chalice on Sundays! Email the worship associates with questions or to learn more.
